ASSEMBLY SERVICES
Production-Ready
Built with precision, delivered with confidence
Complete, production-ready assemblies reduce internal labor, improve consistency, and simplify production.
ASSEMBLY ISN’T JUST LABOR
What appears to be a simple assembly often requires much more than the time needed to connect a few components. Manufacturers must coordinate parts, maintain work instructions, train employees, develop tools and fixtures, perform inspections, manage revisions, protect finished products, and keep every required item available at the right time.
These supporting activities consume skilled labor, production space, administrative time, and working capital. When assembly is not a core competency, the fully burdened cost can be significantly higher than the direct labor recorded at the workstation.
Lufasco brings these responsibilities together under one accountable process. We source and manage the components, establish repeatable assembly methods, perform the required verification, and deliver finished assemblies that are ready to enter your operation.

DOCUMENTATION
Strong work instructions establish correct sequences, components, and requirements for every build

FIXTURING
Repeatable results often depend on purpose-built fixtures, gauges, and standardized tools

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Visual, dimensional, and functional checks help verify assemblies meet requirements

INVENTORY INTEGRATION
Required components are coordinated and available so assembly work is not interrupted by shortages

SKILLED ASSEMBLERS
Trained personnel deliver consistent results while keeping production teams focused on core operations

PACKAGING & LABELING
Finished assemblies are protected, identified, and organized for receiving, storage, and installation
TRACEABILITY
Lot, revision, and quality records can be maintained when the application requires them

SCHEDULED DELIVERY
Assembly production is coordinated with demand so finished components arrive when needed

THE HIDDEN COSTS OF IN-HOUSE ASSEMBLY
Assembly Costs Extend Beyond Production Time.
In-house assembly consumes resources across purchasing, inventory, warehousing, production, and quality control. Each additional component requires coordination, handling, storage, staging, inspection, and discrepancy management, adding cost and complexity throughout the operation.
MULTIPLE SUPPLIERS
Managing multiple suppliers increases purchasing complexity, administrative workload, lead-time coordination, and supply-chain risk
MULTIPLE PICK LOCATIONS
Components stored across multiple locations increase travel, search, picking, and staging time before assembly can even begin
PRODUCTION INTERRUPTIONS
Missing, incorrect, or unavailable components can stop production, disrupt schedules, and create costly delays
LABOR TIED UP IN NON-CORE WORK
Skilled production labor spent locating, staging, assembling, and inspecting components reduces time available for higher-value operations
FLOOR SPACE CONSUMED BY STAGING & ASSEMBLY
Component storage, work-in-process inventory, and assembly staging consume valuable production space that could support revenue-generating operations
INCONSISTENT ASSEMBLY AND REWORK
Variations in components, processes, and workmanship increase the risk of quality issues, inspection failures, and costly rework

OUR ASSEMBLY PROCESS
Scroll to the left to about our assembly process.
- REQUIREMENTS
Review of drawings, specifications, samples, bills of material, quality requirements, expected volume, packaging needs, and production goals. Open questions are resolved before the assembly process is finalized

- SOURCE AND VERIFY COMPONENTS
Components sourced through qualified manufacturers and suppliers. Samples, documentation, and part requirements are reviewed to help ensure the correct components enter the assembly process

- DEVELOP FIXTURES, AND INSTRUCTIONS
When required, custom fixtures, gauges, tooling, and documented work instructions are developed to support repeatability, operator safety, and efficient production

- ASSEMBLE
Trained personnel perform the assembly according to documented sequence and requirements. The process may include mechanical fastening, fitting installation, hose connections, seals, clips, clamps, and other specified operations

- INSPECT AND VERIFY
Assemblies are inspected against the applicable visual, dimensional, functional, and quality requirements. Results and records are maintained as required

- PACKAGE AND DELIVER
Finished assemblies are labeled, protected, organized, and packaged for safe handling. Delivery is coordinated with the customer’s production schedule, inventory plan, or release requirements
